Do I need any additional applications to make it work?
No, we've pre-installed the most popular streaming apps on the device for you. You can access the Google Play Store from the device to download any app you wish.
Will this work on later CarPlay devices?
Yes, later head units from Alpine, Kenwood and Pioneer are supported.
Does it play videos while the vehicle is moving?
Yes, it will work while in motion, but for safety and legal reasons, you should only use the OttoAibox P3 when the vehicle is parked in a safe location. (Please check local regulations before use.)
Will it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, the OttoAibox P3 works perfectly with both iPhones and Android phones. We use the CarPlay channel to power our device, so even if you have an Android phone, you'll still be able to access CarPlay from the display.
How do I watch Netflix using Apple CarPlay?
Simply download the Netflix app from the Google Play Store onto your OttoAibox P3. Log in to your account and start watching your favorite shows.
How do I play videos on CarPlay?
Turn your car's screen into a smart TV with the OttoAibox P3. Simply plug the OttoAibox P3 into your car's USB port, and your regular CarPlay or Android Auto screen will be replaced with ours. Download any app and start streaming using the OttoAibox P3.
